Step 1: Register on Satoshi Trading Bot
Register an account on Satoshi Trading Bot (for free). We only charge a fee over the net profit of the transactions. You can try the simulator mode with no obligation if you want to see what kind of results the Satoshi Bot can make. There is NO KYC process to make an account on the bot so it just takes a minute to register.
Step 2: Linking an exchange to Satoshi Bot
Enhance your trading prowess by effortlessly linking your ByBit account to the Satoshi Trading Bot. Login the bot using your email and password, navigate to ‘Settings’ on your Satoshi Trading Bot dashboard, and proceed to ‘Exchanges‘ to connect with ByBit via API.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT activate the ‘Reserved Amount‘ setting; it’s designed to safeguard funds and prevent their use on the exchange. If you wish to maintain a buffer or accumulate funds for withdrawals, adjust this setting accordingly! For example if you have 1.000 euro but you want to trade with only 500 you put 500 there.
If you don’t have an account on any of these exchanges yet, creating one is free. Below, a video demonstrates the process. Utilize the buttons provided to enjoy discounted trading costs on the exchange:
If you prefer step-by-step instructions with screenshots over watching a video, click the link for connecting ByBit API. The following instructional video provides a detailed guide on how to link your exchange via API.
Step 3: Setting up traders
Once you have linked ByBit to the Satoshi Bot, you can start setting up traders on your account. There are 11 different cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ether, LTC, ADA, XRP, BNB and others) that you can trade against EURO on the Satoshi Bot. You can choose which coins you want the bot to use for trading. It is advisable to set up multiple coins for a good result. Definitely BTC and Eth against EURO.
Give this trader a name that is recognizable to you.
Choose the desired exchange here. You cannot change this later.
Choose the cryptocurrency against Euro you want to trade in (maximum one per trader). You cannot change this later. You can of course set up multiple traders.
Choose from SBT or UpDown. You can change this later. The difference per strategy is stated in the FAQ.
‘Reinvesting’ stands for paying out profit in Euro and ‘HODL’ stands for keeping the profit in the respective coin where the bot trades. If you trade BTC with HODL then you build up more BTC.
Minimum profit percentage:
At what percentage may the trader take profit on a transaction. Take into account the purchase and sale costs of the exchange (0.1% at purchase and sale ByBit) and the commission of the trading bot through prepaid credits. You buy credit on the Satoshi Trading Bot as if you recharge call credit. As soon as the bot closes a transaction with profit, you pay with those credits the part of the bot. The percentage that we advise to use at a minimum is 0.6% and maximum is up to you. You can change this input at any time.
Stop purchases above:
Here you can specify a maximum purchase price (ceiling price). If the actual price is higher than your price, no more purchases will be made. You can change this input at any time.
Average purchase amount:
Here you specify the amount that you would like to have as an average transaction size. If you do not fill in anything here, the trader will always take 18% of the freely available Euro balance in the respective exchange. Suppose you have 500 Euros and you want to trade on 5 coins with 2 strategies per coin then you do 50 euros each, because then you are going to make 10 purchases.
Maximum open purchases:
How many purchase positions may the trader do at the same time for this coin. Together with “Average purchase amount” you can therefore set a limit on how much the trader may invest in a coin at most. 3 purchases of 50 euros is therefore 150 euros on 1 strategy on 1 coin.
Is enabled If the trader is active, there is a check mark here. For -temporary- deactivation you remove the check mark.
Choose “SAVE” and the trader is active.
NOTE: it may take several hours before a trader makes his first purchase transaction. This depends on the strategy setting and whether there is a correct price trend.
Here is a video for setting up a trader (turn on your sound):
Step 4: Purchase credits on your account
The Satoshi Bot takes trading out of your hands and uses prepaid credits (balance) for this. So if you want to activate the bot, there must be Balance credits on the bot. These costs amount to 20% of the profit part of the winning trade. If you go to the dashboard you will see a section where it says ‘Balance’ and there you have the option to choose ‘buy Credits’. Then you come to a menu where the purchase of credits (balance) can be completed with iDEAL, SEPA, BanContant or SOFORT. You need to put the investment capital on the Exchange (market) (ByBit), because the balance is only to pay the costs of the bot. Suppose you let Satoshi Bot trade with 500 euros on your market then 50 euros balance is sufficient. Make sure your balance does not go too far into the – so that the bot can always continue trading.
Utilize our intelligent algorithms that allow you to set and forget it. Satoshi Trading Bot allows you to choose between two intelligent trading strategies each with their own advantages. UpDown with fast trades and BBT with more strategic moves.
